Mangalore to soon have a Museum to preserve TuluNadu culture

April 28: The book “Tulu Nataka Parampare” by Muddu Moodubelle and translated Kannada work ‘Shikari’ by Prameela Madhav (original work by Lalitha Rai), was released by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy President A C Bhandary at Tulu Bhavana on Saturday.
After releasing the book, he addressed the gathering and said that a museum would be set up at Tulu Bhavana to the protect culture, tradition of Tulu Nadu and to introduce the same to the new generation.
He stated the Academy has published 197 works so far and in the past one year, 20 Tulu literary works were brought out and that Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade had advised the Academy to ensure that works were available online. The academy would work on uploading the literary works online, he said.
Udupi Rathabeedi Geleyara Balaga President Prof Muralidhar Upadhya spoke on the work “Tulu Nataka Parampare” while Yermal Bada PU College Principal Dr Jyothi Chelyaru were present during the occasion.
