Mangalore & Udupi to Likely Receive Heavy Rainfall Till May 22

The Indian Meteorological Department as predicted heavy rainfall in Mangalore& Udupi till May 22. An orange alert has been issued in the Dakshina Kannada & Udupi district indicating heavy rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm.

Mangalore city received heavy rainfall on May 19 midnight which may continue for the next three days. During the orange alert, the coastal area is expected to receive rainfall between 115.6 mm and 204.4mm.
