Mangalorean Lady working as domestic help rescued in Kuwait
July 5: Mangalorean Lady, working as a domestic help in kuwait was harassed physically and mentally. The victim Reshma Suvarna, 38, a resident of Bengre in Mangalore was not only paid less than the promised salary, but was also subjected to severe harassment.
Expats Madhava Naik, Dinesh Suvarna, Raj Bhandary and Mohandas Kamath rescued the woman and dropped her to the Indian embassy there.
She has filed a complaint with the Indian Embassy at Kuwait, stating that she was given heavy workload, harassed mentally and physically as well as not given proper food and the promised salary.
The Indian embassy in Kuwait is taking care of Reshma presently and making arrangements for her return to Mangalore as per her request.
