Mangalorean Swimming Coash Selected For Pan Pacific Master Games to be Held in Australia

Sandesh Thingalaya, the swimming coach at the Centre in St Aloysius Swimming Pool has been selected for Pan Pacific Master Games in swimming which will be held in Australia from November 1. Sandesh had earlier won six gold medals in the national level swimming contest.

Sandesh, 45,  will be taking part in freestyle, backstroke in swimming, medley relay and other events in Australia. “I hail from Mogaveera community and have experience in swimming in the sea,” he said. The expenses for participating in an international event will be more than Rs 2.5 lakh and he has appealed to sponsors to support him.
