Mangaloreans win the title at Manipal beauty pageant, held after 20 years

April 4: Manipal beauty pageant which was organised after a gap of 20 years, gathered momentum with its auditions organised at Forum Fiza Mall, Udupi and Manipal. The event was organised by OSC (OneStepCloser) Events and directed by Johnson and Prithvi Kamath at Madhuvan Serai in Manipal. Over 100 applicants from all over Karnataka participated in the auditions.
Jeevan Kotian and Salomi D’Souza from Mangalore edged out other contestants to be crowned with Mr and Miss Teen titles at a beauty pageant.

The beauty pageant was judged by celebrity judges, including Bollywood Actor Shehzaad Khan, Producer of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ Rajesh Bhat, Winner of season 2 `Halli Hyda Pyatege Bandha,’ Chandana Gowda,  and socialite from Manipal Divya R Hegde.

Mr Manipal: Jeevan Kotian (Winner of Mr title) , Sanath Devadiga (Manipal first runner-up), K Shamith M Jain (second runner-up) and Nikhil Shetty (audience choice–Mr Manipal)
Miss Manipal 2019: Laura Susan (Winner), Thanya Pasura (first runner-up), Avantika Tyagi (second runner-up).
Miss Teen Manipal: Salomi D’Souza (Winner), Aashka Kamath (first runner Up), Bhoomika S Kumar (second runner up).
Mrs Manipal: Mouveen Vijay Chandran (Winner), Bhawna Thaware (I runner up), Diya Deepa (II runner up).
