October 19:The Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) will soon commence the online water bill payment system for citizens of Mangalore. As soon as the online payment option is ready, nearly 90,000 water consumers in the city can pay their bills using their mobile phones or personal computers.
MCC commissioner Ajith Kumar Shanadi said that the process of introducing online water bill payment system is under progress and very soon, the system will be ready available for the public on the website.
Data regarding water connections in the city has been collected by the agency, and the system may be launched within a week.
Once the process is complete, a link will be added to the website http://mangalorecity.mrc.gov.in. Consumers may make their payment by clicking the link through their computers or phones and enter their consumer number to access the account the account and make payment through internet banking or using their credit cards.
