Mangalore’s Famous Pop Up Market is Back Again: Diwali Shopping to Get Exciting This Year

Diwali Market in Mangalore for the festive season on October 8 & 9

Pop Up Market Mangalore will host its popular Diwali flea market this weekend, October 8-9 at St. Sebastian Hall, Bendoor from 11am to 9pm. This is the 5th edition of its annual flea market. The market provides a platform to home businesses and Mangalore entrepreneurs to showcase their products & services to the community. The marketplace features 50+ with many home businesses showcasing a variety of products – clothing, fashion accessories, kids clothing, home décor & improvements, bakery, food stalls and much more.

Key highlights:

  • 99% local Mangalorean entrepreneurs showcasing products
  • 90% stalls are women owned business
  • Handpicked all stall owners – each stall is unique and offers different product categories.

A kids activity zone has been setup which features learning & development activities for kids throughout both the days. Adults can look forward to onstage activities like yoga session on Saturday & fun dance fitness session on Sunday. Also visitors have a chance to win gift hampers for spot games conducted throughout the day.

Entry to the event is free of charge as well as all the activities are free to participate making it a fun family outing for the weekend.

Inauguration for the event will take place at 10.15am on October 8th in the presence of honourable Chief Guest, Shri Vedavyas Kamath, MLA for Mangalore South Assembly Constituency.
