Mega health exhibition in Mangalore: Click for details

April 4: On account of World Health Day celebrations, Indian Medical Association Mangalore Chapter to organise a mega health exhibition at Kadri Park on April 6 and 7 (from 10 am to 8 pm) in association with AMC Trust, Mangalore.
Mangalore city Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil will inaugurate the exhibition. The campaign will be used as a platform to create awareness among public about Universal Health Coverage (UHC). A poster making competition will be held on April 6 and 7 for school and college students, staging of health education plays and skits will be a part of the exhibition. A cleanliness drive will be held in association with Ramakrishna Mission on April 7.
‘Universal Health Coverage’ is the theme for the World Health Day given by World Health Organization (WHO) for the year 2019. IMA Mangaluru Chapter President Dr B Sachidanand Rai said that the goal of the exhibition was to ensure health care for everyone. The health workers have been motivated to help decision makers on what people need in terms of care, particularly at the primary care-level.
