Mithun Rai: Congress candidate from Dakshina Kannada?

There has been speculations going on in the Congress party regarding the candidate who would be contesting from DK district. Youth Congress leader Mithun Rai is likely to be selected as the candidate from Congress for Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency. Sources said that Official announcement will be made anytime before March 25.
Leaders like Ramanath Rai, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Kanachur Monu, B K Hariprasad, Ivan D’Souza were the other ticket aspirants.  All of them  were summoned by the High Command which may have finalized the name of Mithun Rai.
If Mithun Rai is given the ticket he would contest against BJP’s Nalin Kumar Kateel, the two time MP.
