MLA Vedavyas Kamath Takes Another Step Towards Plastic Free Kudla: Swiggy Appreciates the Effort

September 12: MLA Vedavyas Kamath had made his move towards plastic free Kulda few months back by requesting the hoteliers of Mangalore to replace plastic with banana leaf for packing food. This initiative was well appreciated by online food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy who responded positively to MLA Kamath’s post of Facebook. Few hotels in Mangalore even implemented this by using banana leaf for packing food items. Along with hoteliers and food delivery apps, citizens of Mangalore also appreciated this effort of MLA Kamath. He has also requested the citizens of Mangalore to carry cloth bags to shops and avoid using plastic bags which is harmful for the environment.
Taking another step towards plastic free Kudla, Mla Vedavyas Kamath has requested the hoteliers as well as catering services to use eco friendly containers to pack food.
