MLC Ivan D’Souza demands action against MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for his tweet.

Ivan D’Souza the Parliamentary secretary to Chief Minister, has urged the Election Commission to file a case against Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for his tweet seeking votes in the name of soldiers. He said that is violation of model code of conduct.

He told the reporters that MP Kateel tweeted saying “One need to vote for a man who had ordered the attack on an enemy country at 3am & not for those who knocked the door of the Supreme Court for a terrorist at 3am. #Modi Again.”

MLC D’Souza stated that model code of conduct was imposed from March 11th and this tweet by MP Kateel marks the violation of code of conduct. He urged the Election Commission to initiate an action against Kateel for this tweet. He alleged that the bravery of Indian soldiers is being misused by Kateel to seek votes.
