MP Nalin seeks votes in the name of PM Narendra Modi: Former Minister Ramanath Rai
April 11: Former Minister Ramanath Rai said that the BJP has failed to woo voters of Dakshina Kannada for their candidate MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and therefore are the party members are seeking votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rai said that The BJP should, clarify the contribution made by both Modi and Kateel to the Dakshina Kannada district.
Regarding Kateel’s claim that development work worth Rs 16,500 crore had been initiated in Dakshina Kannada, Rai said that the money had been received by the gram panchayats under the CRF funds was also being calculated by the MP to claim as his contribution. No asmart city projects have been started in the city, therefore, being unable to show his face to voters, Kateel is seeking votes in the name of Modi, Rai added.
