MRPL Road Likely to be Named After Capt Pranjal: Mayor Sudhir Kumar Shetty Kannur

Mangalore City Mayor Sudhir Kumar Shetty Kannur said that MRPL road at Surathkal will be named after Capt Pranjal, who lost his life in the fight with terrorists at Rajauri in Jammu and Kashmir.

The mayor said, “Capt Pranjal’s father is the former managing director of the MRPL. Pranjal used to walk on the same road every day during his childhood. Hence it is suitable to name that road after him. In the next general body meeting of the MCC, this matter will be presented and then sent to the government after approval.
