Murder in a park near State Bank: Youth arrested

May 14: Mangalore city police police have arrested a youth for allegedly murdering his friend in a park near State Bank bus terminus on May 7. The incident came to light on May 8.
The suspect has been identified as Lingappa (38), a resident of Kateel. He had allegedly murdered his friend Santhosh during a drunken brawl on the night of May 7 and had placed a concrete slab on his body.
Hanumantharaya said that others involved in the case will be arrested soon.
