Muttapa Rai Donates Charriot Worth 2.5 Crore to Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple

October 1: A magnificent chariot (Bramha Ratha) worth 2.5 crore has been donated by N Muttappa Rai Derla and businessman Ajit Shetty Kadaba to Mahatobara Kukke Sri Subrahamanya temple.

The works on the huge chariot began on March 15. The dimensions of the new chariot are exactly the same as that of the existing chariot. The chariot is engraved with carvings from episodes of Ramayana and Mahabharata.
The chariot began its journey from Koteshwara, where it was built and travelled via Mulky- Bappanadu and reached Kadri on Monday Night. It will reach Kukke Subrahmanya Temple on Tuesday, October 2.
