Nanthoor, KPT Junction Filled With Potholes Pose Danger to Motorists: DC Inspects The Place

The roads at Nanthoor and KPT junction have become completely dilapidated with potholes, posing dangers to vehicular movement and causing traffic congestion. Dangerous potholes have also emerged on the stretch of road from Panambur to Surathkal, leading to recent accidents.

Due to heavy rain, potholes have emerged at KPT and Nanthoor, causing traffic congestion. Concerned authorities have failed to address with a permanent solution.

Dakshina Kannada Deputy commissioner (DC) Mullai Muhilan, along with other officials, visited Nanthoor and KPT junction to inspect the condition of the highway. The DC directed NHAI officials and city corporation to install paver blocks at Nanthoor and implement a temporary solution to fill the potholes at KPT as well.
