NDRF Team To Soon Visit The Coastal Districts: This Is The Reason

May 29: The monsoon is nearing and the intensity of natural disasters has been increasing in Dakshina Kannada district for last few years. To Deal with such situations during monsoon, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has approached National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) which will be arriving within a week.
NDRF teams are will be here to handle building collapse, flood, and landslide in hills, rescue operations etc which are common during monsoon months. The NDRF team of 25 members will arrive at the coast in the first phase. Depending on the nature of monsoon, this team will be in the district for two months.
