New Padil Underpass Is Almost Ready For Traffic: Soon Padil Will Have Two Railway Underbridge

February 25: The new railway underbridge (RuB) at Padil is almost complete and people are eagerly waiting for it to open for the traffic.

Shishu Mohan, project director, NHAI project implementation unit,
Mangalore said that the commissioning of the second RuB towards Mangalore will help ease traffic congestion.
The construction wing of Southern Railway has almost completed their work, and NHAI will need around 15 days to lay concrete to a length of 1.1 km to connect the two ends of the road via the new RuB towards Mangalore. Barricades have been fixed on either end, Painting work of the RuB has also been completed.
