NITTE University Grabs 65th Rank in NIRF Amongst 1000+ Universities in India
Nitte University has been ranked 65th amongst the 1000+ Universities in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework which was released on 5th June 2023 by the Ministry Education. The University has climbed 10 places from last year and this is the fifth successive year it finds itself in the Top 100 Universities of the nation. In addition, this year, the University is ranked among the Top 150 in the category of Innovation.
AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences (ABSMIDS), a constituent college of Nitte University has been ranked 5th in the nation in these rankings and has remained in the Top 10 for the third successive year. NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Pharmacy college has been ranked in the 46th position. The engineering college of the University, NMAM Institute of Technology is placed in the Top 150 engineering colleges of the country.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was launched in 2015 by Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, to rank higher educational institutions in the country based on objective criteria. The rankings consider parameters like teaching-learning resources, research productivity, student outcomes, outreach, inclusivity and peer perception.
