Omicron Virus Scare: Demand For Covid Vaccine Increases in Mangalore

Demand for Covid vaccine in Dakshina Kannada district is increasing due to the fear of Omicron virus. People who were earlier not willing to take the vaccine during the campaigns held in the district are coming forward to take the vaccine by themselves.

The number of people who have received the vaccine in the second week of November is double that of the first week. In the last week of November the number of people who have taken the vaccine has crossed one lac mark. Vaccination centres are functioning in Mangalore City Corporation office, deputy commissioner’s office and malls. Around 100 PHCs are also administering vaccines.
