Parts of Dakshina Kannada Witnessed Hailstorm & Heavy Rain on April 7: Check Out

Several areas of Dakshina Kannada District like Ujire, Mundaje, Dharmasthala, Kokkada, Naravi, Charmadi, Savanalu, and Kadirudya received a significant amount of rainfall. Belthangady taluk heavy rain and hailstorm on Friday evening, April 7.

The rain comes as a relief from the scorching summer temperatures and also a relief to many as the area had been experiencing a severe shortage of groundwater due to the summer heat, which had resulted in panic among farmers.
