Police Phone-in Programme Held: Major Issues In Mangalore Raised by Public

Police phone-in programme was held on August 5, Saturday by City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain. DCPs Dinesh Kumar and Anshu Kumar, ACP Geetha Kulkarni and others were present. As many as 33 calls were received during the phone-in.

Several callers raised issues pertaining to parking shrill horns and other traffic issues. Complaints of autorickshaw drivers collecting excessive fares as well as buses that miss their routes were also raised.

Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain informed that Police Department would write to the MCC and NHAI to paint zebra crossings for the benefit of the public.
