Polling delayed at several booths in Kasargod: Click to know why!

April 24: Polling at several booths in Kasargod constituency on Tuesday, April 23 was delayed due to technical fault in EVMs and several voters returned without exercising their franchise. The EVM had to be repaired twice at booth 92 at Mangalpady Kukkar. At booth 115 at Pilikodu Lower Primary School, the polling was delayed by two hours.The polling started late at Karadka, Mulleriya, Mogral Puttur, Uppala, Meeyapadavu, Neerchalu, Manya, Koliyadka, Bangra Manjeshwara, and Kodoth and other areas.
Revenue Minister E Chandrashekaran, who had come along with his family to exercise his franchise, waited in a queue for one hour at booth 34 at Chemnadu Koliyadka.
The polling at  Badiadka continued till 7.30 pm and all the voters who were standing in queue at 6 pm were given token to exercise their franchise.
