Pradeep Acharya Makes Mangalore Proud: Wins Gold in Commonwealth Powerlifting
September 18: Pradeep Kumar Acharya from Urwa Store in Mangalorehad represented India in the 83 kg senior division of Commonwealth Benchpress Powerlifting Championship being held at St John’s in Canada. He has won gold medal in 83 kg senior category which was held on Tuesday September 17.
Pradeep lifted 200 kg in his first attempt.
