Preparations For The First Kambala Event to be Held in Bangalore Are Happenning in Full Swing

Preparations are underway for the first Kambala event at the Palace Ground, Bengaluru on November 25 and 26in Bengaluru, with 100 to 130 pairs of buffaloes being transported in procession from Mangalore. The buffaloes will be transported in trucks from Mangalore on November 23, with arrangements made for their safety, rest, and drinking water along the journey.
The event is expected to attract 7-9 lakh spectators and will showcase the culture and delicacies of Tulunadu. A 145-metre-long Kambala track will be created, and all other arrangements will also be made at the venue. As preparations for the first Kambala event to be held  are in full swing, patrons from the coastal districts will transport 100 to 130 pairs of buffaloes in procession from Mangalore.
While the winning buffalo pairs will be honoured with a medal of two sovereign gold, runners-up pairs will receive one sovereign gold medal. Meanwhile, medals will also be given to all participating buffalo pairs. The main objective of holding Kambala is to introduce the culture of Tulunadu in Bengaluru.
