Prohibitory Orders Across DK From April 24 to 26 Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan who is also is the District Magistrate has issued Prohibitory orders across the district from 6 pm on April 24 till 10 pm on April 26 in order to maintain law and order ahead of Lok Sabha Elections.

During the prohibitory orders, all processions, meetings are banned and people are not allowed to move in groups of five or more. Also no one must move around with weapons or sharp objects. On the day of voting, no posters or banners for campaign can be used in a radius of 200 meters of the polling booths. Anyone violating orders will face legal action, the DC has said
