Prohibitory Orders Under Section 144 Extended Till December 29 in Surathkal, Bajpe, Panambur & Kavoor

Mangalore City Police Commissioner has extended prohibitory orders under Section 144 that has been imposed in Suratkal, Bajpe, Panambur and Kavoor police station limits in the wake of the murder of  businessman Jaleel at Suratkal last Saturday. Ban on sale of liquor will also continue till 10 am on December 29.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has said that three persons have been arrested in connection with the murder. Investigations are yet to reveal as to why Jaleel was killed  and who else were involved. Two of the accused have cases against them in various police stations, he said.
