Property Tax Can be Even Paid at Post Offices & Mangalore One Service Centres

Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Sridhar said that citizens can pay their property tax at post offices and Mangalore One service centres from April 25 onwards.

Earlier, MCC had introduced an online system of payment of Self-Assessment Property Tax. However, the several technical glitches in the same had made it difficult for many citizens to pay their tax. Though the MCC was earlier hesitant to also offer offline mode of payment, it has finally yielded to the demand to facilitate offline payment of property tax along with online payment.
