Proposal for Sports complex in Mangalore: All sports facilities under one roof

May 12: A district-level swimming competition was organised by Jai Hindu Swimming Club and DK district Swimming Association, at Mangala Swimming pool, in Mangalore on Saturday, May 11.
While speaking during the event, Mangalore City South MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that there was a proposal to construct sports complex in Mangalore to provide all sports facilities to sportspersons under one roof. He even stated that the sports complex will have badminton, swimming pool and other facilities. A blue print for the sports complex will be prepared at the earliest.
