Protest by Women in black demanding 33% reservation in politics

March 28: Women from Aegis of Women’s Anti-Atrocities Forum staged a protest by wearing black head bands or attire demanding 33% reservation for women in politics.
The women in black protested by standing on the footpath in front of Wenlock by holding posters in support of their demands.

President of Federation of Women’s Organisations Chanchalakshi said that 33% reservation for women in politics is a must to help women raise their voice against oppression. Women’s association leaders Chandrakala Nandavar, Merlyn Martis, B M Rohini,Vani were also present.
