Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai award presented to Writer Prof Amrith Someshwar

MAHE Pro Chancellor Dr H S Ballal presented the Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai award 2018 to Writer Prof Amrith Someshwar  at former’s house in Someshwar on Saturday. The award includes a cash prize of Rs one lakh and a citation.
Ballal said that MAHE has been promoting art and literature and many works had been digitalised at Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Samshodhana Kendra.
Prof Amrith Someshwar said, “I had not expected any award in literary field. It is a pride to accept an award in the name of Govinda Pai.”
