Reduce usage of water from Nethravati River: DC Sasikanth Senthil

March 27: Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and Mangalore Special Economic zone Limited have been asked to cut down their usage of water from Nethravati River upto 50% by DC Sasikanth Senthil. Along with this, Farmers too have been asked to stop lifting water using pumpsets from the river.
DC Mentioned that water will be supplied from Thumbay dam for next two months & therefore suggests to use water wisely without wasting.
