Rowdy Parade in Mangalore- Read to know more!

Mangalore City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil organised a ‘Rowdy Parade’ at Police grounds on Thursday in order to send a strict message to all the rowdy sheeters. During this, more than 250 rowdy sheeters were paraded. This was done ahead of the Loksabha Polls which will be held in the month of April.

The raids were carried out by the police to prevent all kind off illegal activities & incidents during the elections. City Police found several lethal weapons & vehicles without proper documents at the houses of rowdy sheeters ,during the raids carried out.

Commissioner Patil warned all kind of anti-social elements against creating any kind of disrupt in the peace. He stated that goonda act would be carried out on all those who would be involved in violence related activities.

As a precautionary measure, the police collected security bonds from the rowdy sheeters . They have also launched a manhunt for notorious rowdies against those who had skipped the rowdy parade.
