Rs 1.93 lakh stolen from Mescom ATP machine

April 9: Few thieves broke open the lock of Anytime Payment Machine (ATP) of MESCOM office at Kotekar and took away Rs 1.93 lac from inside. The theft occurred somewhere between 5 pm on Saturday to 8.45 am on Sunday.
The thieves went inside the office by breaking the lock of the shutters. They also pulled out drawers of steel almirahs and drawers of tables to check for more cash. The files and other papers were thrown around.
A case has been registered in Ullal police station in this regard.
