Rs 2 crore released for construction of bridge at this Maoist-affected area: Click to know

June 24: A health camp at Kabbinale, jointly organised by Hebri police along with Anti Naxal Force-Hebri and district Health department. Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar inaugurated the health camp. While speaking after the inauguration the MLA said that a sum of Rs two crore was released for the construction of a bridge at Matthavu, a Maoist-affected area, in Karkala.
MLA mentioned that the proposal to construct the bridge, was a long-pending demand and was submitted to the government.
The MLA said that the construction work of the bridge for pending due to objection from the forest department but hopes for the approval of the project from the forest department soon.
