‘SAFE SCHOOL ZONE’ in Mangalore: This Initiative Proposed by MLA Vedavyas Kamath is Winning Hearts

January 7: MLA Vedavyas Kamath is much known for his innovative and unique initiative which he has taken up in Mangalore. Stating with ‘No onk Wednesdays’, ‘Plastic Free Kudla’ and many more MLA Kamath has always been trending in his social media handles.
Recently the MLA has posted on his Facebook account regarding the ‘Safe Schooll Zone’around schools in Mangalore. MLA has mentioned that under this project, important road safety signs and other equipments to ensure SAFETY near the school zone will be put up. 300 meters area near the school area will be taken up to ensure safe school zone, MLA Kamath added. He has even requested the interested business concerns in the city to come forward and extend their support for this project under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). MLA even mentioned that initially three schools will be taken up or the project and then will be extended to many schools. This initiative has been appreciated by the citizens.
