Saree Walk & Run for the Second Time in Mangalore: Ladies Have A Look

September 11:  Mangalore Women’s Run Troupe, in association with Medimade Solutions, Lions Club, JCI Club, Inner Wheel Club, and other women’s clubs will be organising second edition of Saree Walk and Run 2019 in Mangalore at 6.30 pm on September 29, Sunday.

The saree walk will start from Mahatma Gandhi Park, Mannagudda Road in Mangalore and will cover 2 km.  More than 750 women are expected to take part in the event.
Chief organiser Rajesh said that the event aims to cross boundaries and break common misconceptions and invite women to walk and run wearing saree.
Saree Walk & Run group with the largest member of participants will get attractive prizes. It is open to women aged 18 to 80 years. A participation certificate and a medal will be given to each and every participant. A medical help desk and water counters are provided throughout the track stretch.
