Scuba Diving Will Soon Be Introduced at Panambur Beach: Check Out
The Kadali Beach Tourism Development will introduce scuba diving at the Panambur Beach in the next 20 days. This could be Karnataka’s third scuba diving destination.
Lakshmish Bhandary, MD of Bhandary Builders and partner Kadali Beach Tourism Development informed that a team has conducted a survey and found that the region surrounding a shipwreckoff Panambur is evolving into a picturesque site, boasting rich underwater flora and fauna. Work on introducing scuba diving has been in progress for the last four months and the spot will be open for the public in the next 20 days, he added.
The Kadali beach tourism has also introduced a variety of water sports activities on the beach. Parasailing, speed boat rides, jet ski and desert bikes have been introduced. The team is recording a good demand for parasailing with about 150 rides being recorded during the weekend. During Deepavali, the beach recorded a footfall of about 8,000 per day and the number increased to 10,000-12,000 during the weekend.
