Security Beefed up in DK District After Bomb Explosion in Neighbouring State Kerala

Security is beefed up throughout Dakshina Kannada (DK) district after the bomb blast that took place in neighbouring state of Kerala. Check posts have been set up on border areas like  Talapady, Tacchani and Devipura and vehicle checking has intensified. Police presence is seen in airport, seaport, religious places and railway station.

Vehicles arriving from Kerala and going to Kerala were checked by police. Vehicles are also checked at Mudungarukatte, Narya, Nandarapadpu, Taudugoli Cross and Nettilapadavu that fall under Konaje police station limits.
