April 23: A video in which a senior citizen is being assaulted by Kadaba police station personnel has gone viral on social media. Sources said that the victim was found shouting at people during the annual fair procession was taking place at Kadaba. It is seen that the police personnel, who wielded a lathi, kicked the senior citizen with his shoes.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dr Amathe Vikram has asked the Circle Inspector of Police of Puttur to conduct a probe into the incident and submit a report by Tuesday noon.
