Services of some trains passing through the Mangalore Railway Region will be affected for the next two weeks as Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division undertakes track doubling works between Jokatte and Thokur.
Train No. 12133 Mumbai CSMT-Mangalore Junction Superfast Express starting on November 8 from CSMT will be short-terminated at Surathkal and remains partially cancelled between Surathkal and Mangalore Junction. Train No. 12134 Mangalore Junction-Mumbai CSMT Superfast Express starting from the Junction on November 9 at 2 p.m. will originate from Surathkal at its scheduled departure time of 2.35 p.m. the same day.
Train No. 02197 Coimbatore Junction-Jabalpur Weekly Special Superfast Express commencing on November 3 from Coimbatore at 5.05 p.m. is rescheduled to depart at 7.35 p.m. the same day, a delay of two hours and 30 minutes.
Train No. 19578 Jamnagar-Tirunelveli Junction Bi-Weekly Express commencing on October 31 from Jamnagar will be regulated by 30 minutes en-route. Train No. 19578 Jamnagar-Tirunelveli Junction Bi-Weekly Express commencing on November 1 will be regulated by an hour and 40 minutes en-route.
Train No. 16345 Lokmanya Tilak (T)-Thiruvananthapuram Central Nethravathi Express commencing on November 3 from LTT will be regulated by one hour en-route. Train No. 11098 Ernakulam Junction-Pune Junction Weekly Express commencing on November 3 will be regulated by two hours and 30 minutes en-route.
Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru Express commencing on November 9 will be regulated by two hours en-route.
