Shiradi Ghat Finally Opens For All Vehicular Traffic After Two Months

After a gap of about two months, the Shiradi Ghat has opened for the movement of all kinds of vehicles. Traffic on the road had been barred from July 22 after the mud wall adjoining the highway started to crumble near Donigal.Earlier the national highway 75 between Bengaluru and Mangalore after the Donigal area of the highway was repaired and found to be fit to take on heavy vehicular traffic. Hassan district deputy commissioner, R Girish, issued an order allowing movement of all kinds of light and heavy vehicles between Marnahalli and Donigal stretch of the highway which falls within Hassan district limits.
