Sixty Two KG Single-use Plastic Seized From Shops in Udupi: Shopkeepers Warned

Municipal officials of Udupi raided several shops in the city and seized 62 kg of single use plastic. The officials also imposed fine on the shopkeepers selling banned single-use plastic. The officials also warned the shopkeepers that their license would be cancelled if they continue using the banned plastic.

A team of municipal officials had seized 324 kg single use plastic and had levied Rs 58,200 fine last month.
