Smart City Projects: These Changes Will Be Seen In Mangalore

January 18: Mangalore Smart City Limited (MSCL) managing director Mohammed said that various projects to be taken up under the Smart City mission. He has called upon citizens to cooperate with the authorities while implementing these projects.
Nazeer said that while several works have already been taken up, the MSCL has already prepared action plans for many future projects. There are 45 projects before the MSCL, 13 are being implemented under the pan city scheme. City development, greenery and regional development will be given emphasis while implementing Smart City projects. The pan city development also involves also involves incorporation of technology to develop the city’s infrastructure.
LED lamps have been installed at various places in at a cost of Rs 1.9 crore. A clock tower has been constructed at Hampankatta. Tenders have been invited for the construction of a swimming pool of international standards.
