Sniffer squad and the bomb detection squad at Udupi Railway station

April 30: High alert alert has been announced in Karnataka state following the terror attack at Sri Lanka. In connection with this, the railway stations and the incoming trains in Udupi district underwent a security check.
The sniffer squad and the bomb detection squad were involved in checking along with the local police who joined hands with the railway protection force in the search operation.
Superintendent of Police Nisha James said that the search operation is a part of the high alert announcement in the state after the attach at Srilanka.
