Some Good News Here: IT Park at Derebail in Mangalore City Gets Government Nod
Minister for health and family welfare and Dakshina Kannada district minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said the government has given its nod to set up an IT park at Derebail in Mangalore city.
The project will be set up in more than three acres of the Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited under PPP model. A request for proposal (RFP) for the project will be ready within two months. The government is considering the increase in the PPP term from 30 years to 60 years for the project. A draft zonal regulation will be finalised after holding discussion with the district in-charge secretary soon.
