South Western Railways has decided to cancel day train services between Yeshwantpur and Mangalore Junction/Karwar for 154 days starting May 31 to facilitate railway electrification (RE) on the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat section.

South Western Railway has notified cancellation of two tri-weekly and one weekly day services between Yeshwantpur-Mangalore Junction-Yeshwantpur for 154 days from May 31 to November 1 to facilitate railway electrification work on the Subrahmanya Road-Sakleshpur Ghat stretch of Mangalore -Hassan section, on May 15, 2025.
