Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple Polali to celebrate its Brahmakalashotsava from March 4th.

Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple Polali is all set to celebrate its Brahmakalashotsava from March 4th.  This is conducted ones in every 12 years. But this time it is conducted after 15 years due to temple renovation that took almost two years. The temple is completely renovated and developed at a cost of Rs 18 crore, which is now set for 10-day Brahmakalasotsava celebration from March 4. Brahmakalashabhisheka (Consecrating ceremony) will be held on March 13 with Mahapooja, Palla Pooja, Bramhana suhasini aaradhana and other religious rituals.

Eight to ten lac devotees are expected to take part and temple is providing food for all the devotees throughout the 10-day celebration.

During the celebration various cultural events such as Bhajans, instrumental music, folk events, music, dance, Yakshagana, Taalamaddale, Harikathe will be held under the aegis of Chairman of Alva’s Education Trust Dr Mohan Alva.
