Stolen goods tempo worth Rs 6 lakh recovered

April 2: Goods tempo worth Rs 6 lakh owned by Mangalore Mechanized fishermen’s primary co-operative society was stolen during the early hours on February 7. Kishore Kumar (26) a resident of Sullia had stolen the tempo which was parked outside Matsyagandi Ice Plant & cold storage located near Mangalore South Wharf.
A case had been registered at Mangalore South Police station regarding this. On Monday, April 1, Personnel of Mangalore South police station arrested Kishore Kumar and recovered the goods tempo from his possession.
