May 8: Udupi City Muncipal Commissioner Anand Kallolkar said that three pumpsets mounted on boats are pumping water from small ponds to main pond. While two pumpsets were operating in the morning, one was operating at night.
he said that the authorities will first analyse the water level at Baje dam and decide on supplying water to people on Wednesday, may 8. if water is sufficient, then it will be supplied to the citizens on Wednesday if not, the people will have to wait for another day.
